WWE anunció el pasado lunes que los Slammy Awards 2012 se transmitirán en vivo en el show de RAW de la próxima semana a las 8/7 CT en USA Network. Y por primera vez, los fans determinarán al ganador de cada "Slammy" exclusivamente a través de la aplicación de WWE y la experiencia "WWE Active".
Las categorías de los Slammy Awards 2012 son:
- Superstar of the Year
- Breakout Star of the Year
- Trending Now Award – (Hashtag of the Year)
- Comeback of the Year
- Kiss of the Year
- "Tell me I did NOT just see that" – (The Most Shocking Moment of the Year)
- LOL Moment of the Year
- Match of the Year
